This option includes the official Foundation and Practitioner exams. These exams have to be booked within 180 days of purchase after which your exam voucher expires. NOTE: Exams bookings made in 2020 will incur a surcharge (TBC) due to Peoplecert increasing exam prices in the New Year.
The Exams are explained in detail below:-

Foundation Exam
The foundation exam is a 1 hour closed book multiple choice examination. There are 60 questions. To pass the exam you need to score 55% (33 of the 60 available marks).
Preparing for an Exam
Do not sit the exam before you’re ready and feel confident. We recommend that you should only consider booking an official exam when you have achieved the following:-
- Worked through all the course sections and units at least once
- Completed the exam simulator tests and achieved a repeatable score of 50% / above.
Don’t feel nervous about the exam process. Our comprehensive eLearning course covers the exam syllabus in full and we will also provide you with exam hints and tips. Furthermore, we (unlike many competitors) pay extra for the premium remote proctoring service. With this ProctorU service you will be personally guided through the on-line exam process rather than having your exam being recorded and watched by an invigilator later. This means there are fewer opportunities for your exam to be disqualified because of inadvertant mistakes with in the exam process itself.
PRINCE2® Agile Practitioner Exam

Although this option does not include the official foundation exam, here is some information about it in case you wish to upgrade later.
The PRINCE2 agile Exam is 2.5 hours. It is an objective test (multiple choice) examination and it is ‘open book’, which means that you can reference the official text (PRINCE2 agile) during the exam, but no other reference material is permitted. This exam texts if you can tailor and apply your learnings using a simple scenario.
There are 5 question groups on the paper with 10 sub-questions in each. This means there are 50 marks/questions on the paper. You need to get 30 or more right to be awarded a pass (60%). There is no negative marking.
Examination Methods
If you are attending a classroom course the exams will be paper based, and are usually included within the course schedule (depending on which package you have purchased). If you are taking an eLearning course examinations are conducted on your computer via a remote proctoring service. Click here for detailed information about this service.
When you purchase a remote proctored exam with us you will receive an email with a voucher code and a link to use the code to make your exam booking when you feel ready to actually book the exam. Remote proctored exams can be taken at a date and time to suit you including evenings and weekends, but please note that we need 2 weeks minimum notice to book the proctored service.
