Definitions

“Balance Global” (trade name of Kingsmead Internet Investments Ltd).
“Client” Purchaser of a Balance Global Course.
‘Valid Confirmed booking’ means the firm agreement between Balance Global and the client for attendance at a training course on a specified date. Confirmed bookings are only valid when:-

• The delegate has either completed our online course booking form when selecting a course from http://www.balance-global.com or has completed and returned to Balance Global our Downloadable Booking Form.)
• Paid for the course in full.

‘Reservation’ means a booking that must be changed to a firm booking. Reservations will be held for up to 5 working days whilst course places remain available.
‘Waiting list’ means a provisional booking for which no place is available.
“APMG” Association of Project Management Group
“Firm Booking” This is where the Client has paid in full for the course chosen

Bookings

Offline Reservations can be made via or our Downloadable Booking Form which once completed and signed must be faxed to 01883-708-101 or emailed to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
Online Reservations can be made via our website http://www.balance-global.com.
All reservations are reserved for 7 days to allow for payment.
A reservation will only become a Valid Confirmed Booking once payment has been received by Balance Global. Once the payment has been received, Balance Global will acknowledge acceptance that the reservation has now become a firm booking via email.
Delegates will then be sent pre-reading, joining instructions and/or course manuals prior to the course start date.
 

Fees & Payments

All course fees published are exclusive of Value Added Tax which should be added to the amount shown at the ruling rate at the time of booking the course.
Credit Card - his can be done through credit card over the telephone (01904-422-2530). All credit card transactions will incur an additional 2.5% service charge.
Cheque - Bookings can be paid for via cheque payable to :- Kingsmead Internet Investments Ltd T/A Balance Global.

Nomination of alternative delegate

Nomination by the client of an alternative delegate for a course may be made at any time up to the course start date. The fee for making this change is £150 per candidate substitution ain order to cover administrative expenses. However, Balance Global cannot guarantee that this can be fully accommodated as there may be APMG examination registration deadlines which are outside our control.

Cancellations and transfers

Cancellations and transfers will only be accepted if confirmed in writing and will incur the following charges:-

Weekends are included in the above calculations Delivery of the booked course at the scheduled date is dependent on the viability of the course as assessed by Balance Global. Courses may be deemed as unviable due to an insufficient number of booked delegates. It is a condition of acceptance of a booking that the customer accepts that a course may be deemed unviable by Balance Global at any time after the booking has been made. If this occurs, Balance Global will cancel or reschedule the course.

Balance Global expects delegates to behave in a polite and appropriate manner and reserves the right to exclude delegates or abandon the course in the event of disruptive, abusive or threatening behaviour by an individual or group of delegates. In such an event, no refund will be payable to the client of the excluded delegate.

Course Changes

Balance Global reserves the right to improve the specification and format of its courses for the benefit of its customers without notice to the customer.

The location and date of the course will be as advised to the customer at the time of booking. Balance Global reserves the right to change the location of the course and will advise the customer as soon as this change is known.

Balance Global reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course and will advise the customer as soon as this change is known. Balance Global will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid changes of this nature. When this is unavoidable Balance Global will refund in full all monies paid less the cost of the course manual, or at the customer’s option apply all monies to a rescheduled or alternative course.

Warranty and Liability

The customer accepts that it is their responsibility to verify that the courses are suitable for the requirements of the delegate attending a particular course and that the delegate has the necessary level of competence to be able to achieve the objectives of the course. For examination courses, no warranty is given that a delegate will pass the examination(s), the questions for which are set and marked by the APMG examining authority.

Balance Global liability for loss and damage shall be limited to a claim for damages. The maximum aggregate liability will be the charges for the course out of which the loss or damage has arisen. Balance Global will not be liable for indirect, special or consequential loss (including loss of anticipated profit or data), howsoever arising, even if it has been advised of such potential loss.

The copyright and all other intellectual property rights in all course materials shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Balance Global or, in the case of a course developed by a Balance Global, or Partner organisation/s. You undertake that you will not copy or permit the photocopying of course materials, nor disclose or permit the disclosure or sell or hire the same to third parties, nor use the same for running your own courses.

Data Protection

Balance Global does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. Your details will be added to the Balance Global database in order to process your booking, and for the purposes of marketing courses and promoting Balance Global.
