Balance Global

As one of the first organisations to become an APMG ATO (Approved Training Organisation), Balance Global has been training people in PRINCE2 since 1994.  Initially concentrating on public and corporate courses in the North East of England, we have since broadened both the range of courses we offer and the locations in which we run them.

We have a strong association with the NHS and are the only ATO to run the popular APMG accredited course ‘Prince into Practice in The NHS’.  Our client list now spans both public and private sectors, and includes some of the largest companies in the UK.  To help our clients get the most out of their training spend we are also firm believers in training after-care.  We have helped many clients to tailor and embed PRINCE2 within their organisation through on-going consultancy and mentoring.

In spring 2010 Balance Consulting was acquired by Kingsmead Internet Investments and re-branded as Balance Global.  This new name reflects the investment being made and the new direction the company is now taking.  Recent consultancy projects include establishing portfolio offices and centres of excellence in the emerging arena of project and programme support and organisational maturity.

2011 will be an exciting year for us with a growing portfolio of courses and especially with our sister company ‘PurpleProjects’ going live.  PurpleProjects will provide even more after-care with a wealth of very high quality tools and templates to assist project and programme professional across all industries.
